Štěpánská vyjížďka
Srdečně Vás i letos zveme na tradiční Štěpánskou vyjížďku, na kterou vyrazíme v pondělí 26.12. po obědě. Sraz je 13:00 v Chýnově na Gabrielově náměstí před kašnou. Společně se vyškrábeme na nejvyšší v okolí - Batkovy. A nedlouhou krasojízdy zakončíme v 15:00 v Chýnově v Bistru na hřišti. Těšíme se na Vás.

Our story
How a crew on bikes came together in Chýnov.
Welcome to the website of Cykloklub Chýnov z.s. We’re a group of riders from around Chýnov, and our big passion is mountain biking. Our story goes back to the summer of 2012, when a group of enthusiasts led by Jaroslav Bartáček decided it would be nice to give this beautiful sport some proper organisation in our small town. Team kit, a logo, a website and so on followed one by one… It didn’t take long for our base to grow a lot (today about 60 riders — men, women and kids). So more and more often you could meet cyclists in red, white and black kit out on the trails and on the road. But our vision was never just to ride around the countryside as a group — above all, we had racing ambitions. And so began our journey through all kinds of races in South Bohemia, where right from the start we had strong riders who regularly finished on the podium. Thanks in part to them, the club became known, and anyone who rides in our region has surely heard of Cykloklub Chýnov. And because we know how to put on a great event, every year on the first weekend of June Chýnov hosts an MTB marathon that we can fairly call legendary (a beautiful course, perfect facilities, a party after the race…). Come in June and see for yourself!
Away from racing, we work with kids and young riders, hold training camps in interesting places with an atmosphere you won’t find anywhere else, and organise bike weekends, trips, cultural events and concerts — and every now and then we decide to set off by bike on a big adventure abroad (but you’ll surely find all of that on this website yourself).
If you’ve read this far, all we can do is recommend that you stay a while on our website, look through the photos and videos, and read about the race and our other activities. Maybe you’ll find something interesting, maybe you’ll even want to meet us… Whether you’re a club member or a cyclist from nearby, we’d love to meet you — on the bike and off it.
