One lap, six obstacles — two classics and four you won’t find anywhere else
- Start
- Barriers 2.0 Classic barriers, reworked for the show. Version 2.0.
- Carousel A spiral like a snail shell. It winds you in, then spits you back out.
- Stairs Bike on your shoulder and up you go. A cyclocross classic that decides the order.
- Janev slalom Turn after turn. Either you find the line, or you hit the deck.
- Barriers Off, over, back on. Wooden planks across the course — a classic that breaks your rhythm.
- Curtain The curtain goes up. The course as a stage — literally.

About the race.
Fofr Kros is a cyclocross show that follows the main programme of the JANEV Cup in Chýnov — a Czech Cup race filmed by Czech Television and broadcast on ČT sport. The pros sit this one out: on the start line are hobby riders, well-known faces, influencers, partners and athletes from other sports. It’s not about points, it’s about the show.
How it works
The start comes fifteen minutes after the Czech Cup men’s race finishes, and the race lasts thirty minutes at most. The field is fifteen men and fifteen women, and the course is one lap with six obstacles — two cyclocross classics (the stairs and the barriers) and four you won’t find anywhere else: the carousel, the slalom, barriers 2.0 and the curtain. The race partners build them, differently every time.
How to get on the start line
There’s no entry form — the organisers put the field together and invite the riders. There’s no entry fee and no appearance money; all you need is a cyclocross bike (and if you don’t have one, they’ll try to find you one). For spectators
The venue is buzzing all day: expo stands, food and drink, a band and even showers. Parking is three hundred metres from the venue.
